BPRD Intensifies National Online Samsat Socialization

The Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD) along with the National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas) intensifies socialization about National Online Samsat (Samolnas) service to taxpayers in the capital.

Payment can be done via ATM or mobile banking

Jakarta BPRD Head Faisal Syafruddin said the service could make it easier for taxpayers to pay the motor vehicle tax (PKB) in the current year or the previous year.

"Payment can be done via ATM or mobile banking," he expressed, Saturday (10/26).

PKB and BBNKB Bills Now Can Be Paid Through Samolnas Application

Up to October 24, the tax realization has touched Rp 7/08 trillion from the target set by Rp 8.8 trillion.

Jakarta BPRD's Counseling and Information Services Unit Head Mulyo added Samolnas is a service in the form of applications that can be downloaded via cell phones. Taxpayers will later get a pay code to make tax payments via ATM and mobile banking.

"This pay code is only valid for two hours. If it passes the time limit, you must register again," he explained.

He furthered receipt of payment in this service is only valid for one month. Therefore, they are urged to soon exchange its receipt to the nearest Samsat in order to obtain the local tax assessment letter (SKPD) and the vehicle registration certificate (STNK).

"The deadline for exchanging the receipt is only 30 days. STNK validation can only be done in the Samsat area of origin of the vehicle," he told.
