e-KRK Improves Investment Growth in Jakarta

e-KRK service which is initiated by Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTS) Department is targeted to improve ease in doing business thus increase the business growth and investment in Jakarta.

Permit is an important thing that is required to support business growth and investment

Jakarta PMPTSP Department Head, Benni Aguscandra stated, e-KRK is the digital version of City Planning Provisions (KRK) permit application that facilitates businessmen and encourage them to invest in Jakarta.

"Permit is an important thing that is required to support business growth and investment. By simplifying its process, businessmen are expected to be more discipline in administration and encourage them to apply for permits independently," he explained, Thursday (10/31).

Five UP PTSPs Have Applied E-KRK

He explained, e-KRK innovation is provided to accelerate completion of KRK application. This way, applicants can input their data online and choose land measurement schedule, then officers will verify it and issue KRK documents less than a week.

"In one working day, KRK can be issued and sent to the applicants." he asserted.

Through innovation of e-KRK service, problems that could be occurred in issuing permit can be minimized by simplifying and accelerating the process. Moreover, it also facilitates Jakarta Government to get the more accurate digital map.

"KRK is the beginning of construction permit series. Thus accelerating KRK issuance process should be done continuously in order to increase investment in Jakarta," he conveyed.
