Slum RW Arrangement Budget Proposal Gets Approval From Commission D

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission D gave its approval to budget proposal for slums RW arrangement that is proposed by Public Housing and Settlement Area Department (DPRKP) through City Budget (APBD) General Policy and Provisional Budget Priorities and Funding Levels (KUA-PPAS) 2020.

Commission D fully supports slum RW arrangement in Jakarta

Commission D Chairpersson, Ida Mahmudah explained, total budget proposed by DPRKP in KUA-PPAS 2020 is Rp 3.4 trillion. Then for efficiency, it is reduced by Rp 434 billion, into Rp 3.026 trillion.

From total budget proposed, DPRKP plans to allocate Rp 600 million to Rp 10 billion for slum RW arrangement in 35 locations.

"Commission D fully supports slum RW arrangement in Jakarta," she asserted at Jakarta DPRD Building, Thursday (10/31).

In the other hand, Jakarta DPRKP Head, Kelik Indriyanto explained, his side proposed seven priority programs in fiscal year 2020. Those are public housing construction, public housing maintenance, slum RW arrangement, improving settlement's infrastructure and utilities, settlement's infrastructure construction, providing service for public housing occupants, and facilitating the ownership of DP 0 Rupiah (zero downpayment) house.

"Besides, we also propose budget for constructing public housing as the continuation of multiyears 2019 program," he informed.
