PE Department's Proposals in KUA-PPAS 2020 Reviewed by Commission B

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission B reviews further about Industry and Energy (PE) Department's proposals in City Budget (APBD) General Policy and Provisional Budget Priorities and Funding Levels (KUA-PPAS) 2020.

It is done to support national energy general plan activities

In this chance, Jakarta PE Department Acting Head (Plt), Ricki Marojahan Mulia explained about PE Department's four main programs in 2020.

First, his side plans to build solar panel to support improvement on air quality.

"It is done to support national energy general plan activities," he stated at Jakarta DPRD Building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Friday (11/1).

Related to industry sector, his side also plans to develop integrated entrepreneurs and build salt industry in Sebira Island, Thousand Islands.

"Salt is needed by the most people and has a potential to improve local resident's welfare," he explained.

Third, his side plans to collaborate with Bina Marga Department to beautify several spots with proper lightings for tourism purpose as it is done on Jalan Kendal.

"Lighting is very important because it can provide a sense of security for people," he said.

Then the fourth main program is to buy gauges for land subsidence.

"We propose to procure four gauges for land subsidence next year," he explained.

Regarding to his cooperation with KUKMP Department, his side has budgeted for assistance that will be given to small medium industries thus they can be facilitated to get brand and halal certification.

"We also give them assistance thus they can develop in the creative industry," he added.

For information, PE Department proposes budget of Rp 528.37 billion in KUA-PPAS 2020.
