KUA-PPAS Draft Review Targeted to Finish This Week

Review on City Budget (APBD) General Policy and Provisional Budget Priorities and Funding Levels (KUA-PPAS) 2020 is targeted to finish on Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Vice Chairman, Mohamad Taufik mentioned, KUA-PPAS is currently being reviewed at Commission level.

"It will finish in this week. Our target is on Wednesday. This commission is similar to sub-Banggar, thus it is done in commission, it will continue to Banggar," he stated, Monday (11/4).

Commission A Reviews Gulkarmat Proposals in KUA-PPAS 2020

Reviewing KUA-PPAS, he continued, is the moment for all legislative members to correct the budget line and its nominal.

"We run the function of budget. Here is the place where we review it," he conveyed.

According to him, after KUA-PPAS review is done, it will continue with Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between executive and legislative.

"After that, we will start to review City Budget (APBD) 2020 Draft," he added.

In that stage, he assessed, budget is still possible to be re-evaluated and re-corrected even though it has been approved at commission level.

"Reviewing KUA-PPAS only approaches the detailed budget component. It will be discussed further and selected," he asserted.

Regarding to this case, he wants all Regional Apparatuses Organizations (OPD) to give complete explanation, especially when Councillors ask them.

"It is important for them to explain the budget allocations," he said.
