Regent Visits Public Complaint Post to Collect Resident's Aspirations

Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad together with his apparatuses visited public complaint post at Untung Jawa Island, South Thousand Islands in order to collect resident's aspirations.

Through this post, we can collect all resident's aspirations regarding development and regional arrangement

"Through this post, we can collect all resident's aspirations regarding development and regional arrangement," he conveyed, Saturday (11/9).

According to him, facilities in Thousand Islands should be arranged to support development in tourism sector.

"We should develop our region through arrangement, starts from maintaining cleanliness, arranging traders and the area, and showing local people's hospitality," he said while meeting with the locals.

According to him, Untung Jawa Island has a used building for street vendors that is not used anymore and it needs to be re-arranged for the aesthetic purpose.

Meanwhile, street vendors in BKSDA should be relocated thus they don't trade on the main roads since they can disturb tourists.

"Tourist spots should be arranged by adding more selfie spots or new scenery and maintaining its cleanliness," he said.
