As many as 120 people living in Ancol, Sungai Bambu and Penjaringan urban villages were socialized about fire handling held by the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency, on Monday (11/18).

It was held in RW 14 Penjaringan Urban Village, RW 08 Ancol Urban Village and RW 03 Sungai Bambu Urban Village.

"Each RW sends 40 people to join the socialization today. They consist of public figures, RT/RW caretakers, Dasa Wisma and Karang Taruna members," expressed North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Satriadi Gunawan.

The materials given were about danger of fire and fire-handling simulation from a gas stove using a portable fire extinguisher (APAR).

"Hopefully it is able to improve their skills to handle fires in minimizing fire case," he hoped.
