Channel Dredging Progress in Jelambar Baru Reaches 70 Percent

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department is focus to dredge several water channels in West Jakarta. One of them is located on temporary market, Jalan Seni Budaya VI, RT 02/03, Jelambar Baru, Grogol Petamburan.

Dredging has started in October and now it is 70 percent complete

Grogol Petamburan SDA Unit Head, Yusuf Kasim mentioned, water channel dredging in temporary market of Jalan Seni Budaya VI is targeted to finish in December 2019.

"Dredging has started in October and now it is 70 percent complete. We have collected about 3,350 sacks of mud sedimentation from the channel," he said, Monday (11/18).

Channel Dredging on Jalan Kali Pasir Has Touched 50 Percent

Previously, he conveyed, this channel that has length 205 meters and width 80 centimeters is full of mud sedimentation with one meter thickness.

"We deploy 11 personnel in this dredging. Our target is to finish it in December," he stated.
