Citizens Happy to Welcome Ketupat Bridge in Petojo Utara

A bridge resembling a ketupat that connects the villages in Petojo Utara, which has been separated by the Krukut River and as an access to schools, is now available.

Its existence located on Jalan Sekolah, RW 08, Petojo Utara Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta is greeted with joy by the local residents. Of course this presents a different feel and becomes a beautiful new selfie photo spot.

One of locals Fitri expressed, she had lived in Petojo Utara since she was a child, before the bridge was not as good as now, only used for roads. But, today many people use the bridge for selfies.

"I'm happy now that the bridge is beautiful and convenient as road access," she expressed, Wednesday (11/20).

Not only locals, many other people who cross the bridge come to take selfies. "It's very good, our settlement environment has become colorful and attractive," she explained.

Similar statement also comes out from a student Nabila. She admitted, she often uses the bridge to take selfies together with her friends.

"It is always crowded every day, especially in the afternoon and at night," she told.

Petojo Utara Urban Village Head Amadeo added the bridge was built in May 2019 and completed in July.

"Alhamdulillah this bridge is very useful and has a strategic access for the community. Hopefully, this makes us happier," he stated.
