DDT Construction Socialized to 169 Peddlers in Pisangan Timur

The Pulogadung Sub-district Head Bambang Pangestu socializes the planned construction of a double double track (DDT) or dual rail line belongs to PT KAI towards 169 peddlers of ex-JT 52 that is held at Jalan Pisangan Lama Raya, Pisangan Timur.

They will be relocated to the Klender SS Market on the 2nd floor

This socialization urges them to immediately vacate their stalls, as the occupied land will be used for making DDT projects.

"Actually we had done the same action last week, where we summoned them (peddlers) to the office for socialization. They will be relocated to the Klender SS Market on the 2nd floor," he expressed, Thursday (11/21).

Of 169 peddlers, 149 of them are fruit sellers and the rest are bike spare part sellers. They finally agreed to vacate the land by the end of November.

Hamdun (52), one of peddlers admitted that he actually refused to be relocated, but he had to agree to support the smooth construction of public facilities.

"My hope is we can exist more and get a hig her income," he hoped.
