"This will be our future vision. PKJ TIM will be equipped with infrastructure and facilities that can support artist's activities," he added, Tuesday (11/26).

City will Continue to Support Theater Arts in Jakarta

According to plan, PKJ TIM will have hotel facilities in order to facilitate artists from outside of Jakarta or abroad who have activities or carry out cultural art missions at PKJ TIM.

"If they stay overnight at TIM, surely it will make it easier to interact with other artists in there," he mentioned.

In the former discussion, artists conveyed their aspirations by asking PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) to involve them in PKJ TIM revitalization process.

"I think it can be an input, including from legislature. We will evaluate to find the best solution," he asserted.

Besides, Jakarta Government will continue to communicate with artists in TIM thus this visionary revitalization project can be accepted by all parties.

"Once again, it doesn't mean to remove artists through this revitalization. But we want to improve their dignity, especially in Jakarta," he stated.
