Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road Transformed into Third Space for Transjakarta Users

The third space for people who are awaiting buses while socializing

The North Jakarta administration is targeting to finish the arrangement of space under Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road on Jalan Yos Sudarso in mid-December. It will be the third space for Transjakarta users who are in transit.

North Jakarta Government's Economic and Development Assistant Suroto said it is precisely located in opposite of the Artha Gading Mall and at the end of Jalan Danau Sunter Utara. Between the toll roads, there are two main bus stops that cross Transjakarta routes.

"The concept is like a pocket area. The third space for people who are awaiting buses while socializing," he disclosed, Thursday (11/28).

So far the execution is already in process and executed by the North Jakarta Forestry Sub-agency. While the lighting will involve the Industry and Energy Sub-agency.

North Jakarta Forestry Sub-agency Head Putut Widya Martata uttered it has been carried out since early November. Its arrangement includes pedestrian, communal plaza development, seating area, greening, bio swale or rain garden.

"Our complete target is in mid-December," he closed.
