City and France Embassy Hold Resilient City Seminar

Jakarta Government together with France Embassy held seminar with theme 'Toward a Resilient City with a Sustainable and Smart Approach' at Pola Room of Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (11/28).

France Ambassador, Olivier Chambard explained that through this seminar, his side wants to offer assistance through joint collaboration with Jakarta Government in various sectors of city management.

"We are here to help and share our expertise from government and private companies. This will be the first of many meetings. Thus through this seminar, we expect to start collaboration and develop joint projects with Jakarta Government," he stated.

In this event, his side invited experts in various sectors to see the problems in Jakarta especially that related with city management.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Deputy for Population and Settlement, Suharti welcomes the good initiatives from France Embassy that offers joint collaboration to tackle issues in Jakarta while supporting Jakarta in realizing resilient city.

"We also invite SKPDs and BUMDs in related sector to participate in this seminar thus they can learn from France and perhaps to develop joint collaboration in the future," she asserted.
