ICITAP Visits Tarakan RSUD

Tarakan Public Hospital (RSUD) received visit from Acting Director of US Department of Justice International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP), John G. Gollogly and team who are accompanied with staff representatives of United States Embassy.

In that chance, they visited Tarakan RSUD's Integrated Service Center Unit.
Tarakan RSUD Director, Dian Ekowati explained, this visit is carried out in order to improve the service towards patients who are the victims of domestic violence (KDRT) and gender-based violence in Indonesia.

Her side also played a video for the guests about process of their service towards victims of KDRT and gender-based violence at Tarakan RSUD. Then also explanation from dr. Boge, forensic specialist related to violence against women and children.
"They are non-profit institution that provide service for violence victims and it is very rare in hospital. Thus in this visit, we want to build cooperation with them," she asserted.
Moreover, this visit continued with discussion and QnA session.
"In order to mark our friendship, we also exchange souvenirs," she said.
