Commission B Holds Meeting to Review TIM Revitalization

Commission B held meeting to explain Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) revitalization.

This meeting was also run together with Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department (Disparbud), Taman Ismail Marzuki Jakarta Art Center Management Unit (UP PKJ TIM) and PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as the TIM revitalization project's leading sector.

Commission B Chairman, Abdul Azis mentioned, this meeting was held to listen about TIM revitalization plans and review revitalization business plan that has been carried out by PT. Jakpro.

Commission B Expects Jakpro to Build Good Communication with Artists

"Alhamdulillah, we have received a very detailed information from PT. Jakpro and Disparbud," he asserted at Jakarta DPRD Building, Friday (11/29).

He explained, Commission B haven't decided anything because his side is still waiting for more comprehensive revitalization plan from PT. Jakpro within the next 2-3 weeks.

"We want it to be postponed temporarily. I ask PT. Jakpro to revise its design and make the new business plan," he conveyed.

Meanwhile, PT. Jakpro President Director, Dwi Wahyu Daryoto ensured that TIM revitalization can accommodate around 300 art performers.

"PT. Jakpro's role is only related with the management or infrastructure construction," he mentioned.
