I want budget absorption to be higher than last year, at least above 90 percent

DPRD's Commission A Chairman, Mujiyono expected all activities that have been budgeted and approved to be done optimally.

"I want budget absorption to be higher than last year, at least above 90 percent. Higher budget absorption is one factor that indicates the success of development," he stated at Jakarta DPRD Building, Thursday (12/5).

According to him, the regional apparatus organizations (OPD) should be able to optimize priority programs, especially Regional Strategic Activities (KSD).

"I also expect optimization towards public services thus citizens feel that government is there for them," he conveyed.

Besides, the executive should focus on the equality of access to services and facilities and infrastructures in Thousand Islands.

"Citizens in Thousand Islands have the same rights with other citizens who live in the mainland, such as the right to access to good health and transport," he stated.

He asserted, hearse boat and graveyard in Thousand Islands should be provided well. Because Thousand Islands only has limited land that can be used for burial ground.

"This is our concern. Because budget can be filed and discussed it together. Don't just look on its amount. If it is really needed, we must strive for it," he explained.
