Commission B Agrees on 2020 RAPBD in Nine OPDs

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission B, agreed on the amount of budget allocation in the 2020 City Budget Draft (RAPBD) for nine regional apparatus organizations (OPD) worth Rp 4.14 trillion, on Thursday (12/5).

The Commission B Chairman Abdul Aziz detailed, the council approved Rp 181.19 billion for Manpower and Transmigration Department; Rp 382.755 billion for Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Department; Rp 1.9 trillion for Transportation Department and Rp 129.40 billion for KUKMP Department.
There were also Rp 207.28 billion for PM and PTSP Department; Rp 628.65 billion for Tourism and Culture Department; Rp 690.24 billion for Industry and Energy Department; Rp 1.1 billion for Economic Bureau; and Rp 18.72 billion for BP BUMD.

He explained that the meeting made adjustments to the budgetary needs as it was related to the increasing nominal of the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) and BPJS premiums.
"They (OPD) are just waiting for further discussion at the Budget Committee (Banggar). InsyaAllah, it will be held next week," he explained.
While, the Commission B members Ichwanul Maslimin hoped that the budget discussed and allocated for 2020 could be absorbed optimally.
"As for the information, we also have a supervisory function, not just budgeting and legislation. So, we will directly monitor any activities that will be executed next year," he uttered.
There were currently new young legislators in the council and very critical to monitor the programs implemented by the OPD.
"I want, the next year's budget absorption can hit 100 percent, which means there is seriousness in planning and implementing, not just proposing it, but it must be executed properly," he closed.
