Anies Wins Award for Chief of Pioneering Change in Integrity Zone Development

The Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, received an award as Chief of the Pioneering Change in Integrity Zone Development, Corruption-Free Zone (WBK), as well as the Serving and Clean Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM) 2019. 

This award is given to leaders and staffs who are committed to making the work environment free of corruption

The award was directly handed over by the Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, at Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (12/10). 

"This award is given to leaders and staffs who are committed to making the work environment free of corruption. There are several indicators, the results of a corruption perception survey and a service quality survey. So, at that time, the PANRB ministry gave this," Baswedan expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

A total of 6 work units in the city ranks also received WBK titles, namely Pasar Minggu RSUD Director, Jakarta Health Agency Dr. Yudi Amiarno; Pulo Gadung UP PKB; Jakarta Transportation Agency Mirza Aryadi; Ujung Menteng UP PKB Head; Jakarta Transportation Agency R. Prapto Priyanto; Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Head Benni Aguschandra; Fishery Product Inspection and Certification Production Center Head; Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Agency Sartono; Pioneer of Change award to Water Transport Management Unit Head; and Jakarta Transportation Agency Dedy Dewi Widodo. 

He added that the award was a trigger for enthusiasm for all levels of the Jakarta Provincial Government to improve integrity and service to all citizens. "This is a tribute to all levels of staff and is a trigger to further increase the degree of integrity in the workplace," he added.

At the same place, the vice president said that this award was an effort to create a clean, accountable and serving government. "That means your work unit becomes an icon of bureaucratic change. Thus other stakeholder will see your action," he uttered.

He also advised that government institutions that received the award should run the principles of public service with integrity and free from corruption. "The better the integrity of the bureaucracy, will strengthen public trust in public services to the community," he closed.
