East Jakarta Has Held 728 Fire Training Activities Along January-December 15

We want the community to be more alert thus the potential for a fire can be minimized

Along January to December 15, it has been noted that the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency has held fire education using jemput bola system up to 728 times with 8,753 participants.

"It is held in residential areas, government offices to private offices, including in the offices of sub-district fire and rescue sector and sub-agency," expressed East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Acting Head, Muchtar Zakaria, Monday (12/23).

It is part of an effort to minimize the occurrence of fire cases that have the potential in East Jakarta.

"We want the community to be more alert thus the potential for a fire can be minimized," explained.

East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency's Fire Section Head Edi Parwoko uttered, from 728 training activities, it is dominated in the community, which reaches 51.7 percent or 376 activities.

"Then 39.4 percent or 287 activities are held through student visit to the offices of fire and rescue sub-agency and the rest are held in schools with 5.2 percent or 38 activities, followed with buildings, offices, industries, markets with 3.7 percent or 27 activities," he reported.

Aside that, the sub-agency is also ready to provide training if there is a request from the community.

"Especially for building managers, we also emphasize the importance of Building Fire Safety Management or MKKG," he stated.
