West Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-department provides population administration service for flood victims by providing post near the shelters.
We will open this service until all resident documents are handled
West Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-department Head, Rosyik M. explained, this post has been opened since Friday (1/3) in several locations near the RW shelters. People can report to the officers on duty about their population administration documents that were lost or damaged due to flood.
"After collecting their data, we print it at urban village office and give it to them," he explained, Saturday (1/4).
Dukcapil Opens Population Document Service for Flood VictimsAccording to him, his side opens Dukcapil service post at RW 16 Kapuk Urban Village, RW 03 Rawa Buaya Urban Village, RW 07 Kedoya Utara Urban Village, RW 01 Semanan Urban Village, RW 05 Srengseng Urban Village, and RW 01 and RW 04 Kembangan Utara Urban Village.
"We are open from 9 AM to 5 PM. If they are unable to visit our post, they can report it to the local RT/RW," he added.
His side will continue to add more Dukcapil service posts. Moreover, Dukcapil personnel in urban village will be mobile to each RWs to reach residents whose population documents were lost or damaged to get its replacement.
"We will open this service until all resident documents are handled," he stated.
