Four Mobile Pumps Alerted in North Jakarta as Tidal Wave Anticipatory

We have sent mobile pumps to four flood-prone locations

The North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency prepares 8 mobile pumps, 5 portable pumps, eight floating pumps, 13 jetfire pumps and 17 alkon pumps in a bid to anticipate inundation when the sea level reaches the maximum tide that will occur on January 9-11.

"We have sent mobile pumps to four flood-prone locations. Each one pump," stated North Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Adrian Mara Maulana, Wednesday (1/8).

Those four locations are Muara Baru, Muara Angke, Kali Baru and Marunda. Each mobile pump has a power of 100 liters per second.

"We also alert the supporting officers there," he closed.
