The Pademangan Timur Urban Village Discussion Forum (LMK) members, North Jakarta, conducted a comparative study trip to Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands, on Monday (1/13).

Harapan Island Urban Village Head, Adi Apandi expressed it was done as a means to exchange information and strategies regarding tourism development in Thousand Islands.

"Thank you for choosing Harapan Island Urban Village as a comparative study location," he stated.

Pademangan Timur LMK Chairman Syahrudin added, with 10 members, he held a discussion along with representatives of Thousand Islands Water Resources Sub-agency and Harapan Island LMK as speakers.

"We learned a lot about the importance of IPAL and public toilets for sanitation related to the tourism sector to its impact on tourists and the economy of citizens," he said.
