Cikaya Beach Introduced as New Tourist Destination in Karya Island

Eastern side of Karya Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands is appointed as the new Thousand Islands' tourist destination called Cikaya Beach or Karya Island's Love Beach.

In the future, we will add more facilities in this beach

Thousand Islands Vice Regent, Junaedi said, Cikaya Beach is one of many locations in Thousand Islands that is potential to be developed for tourism.

"Previously it was full of shrubs, then we turned it into a beautiful tourist destination that can be enjoyed by tourists and local people for free," he conveyed, Thursday (1/16).

This Week, Transjakarta Tour Buses Operational Hour Extended

According to him, Cikaya Beach is equipped with unique selfie spot, children playground, outbound facility and wooden bridge.

"In the future, we will add more facilities in this beach, including beach sport and sea pool facilities. Hopefully we can realize it soon thus it can attract more tourists to visit Karya Island,"  he stated.
