Semper Timur Urban Village Head, Cahyo Hudoyono mentioned, heavy rain from this dawn to morning caused inundation in several areas. Besides, this road is located in basin area, thus water can't flow immediately to the channels.

"We use this pump to accelerate receding inundation on the road. Sand sacks are also prepared on the location," he said, Thursday (1/23).

Not only providing portable pump, his side also deployed 6 PPSU personnel, 10 Bina Marga Unit personnel, and 18 Water Resources (SDA) Unit personnel to handle the inundation.

"Inundation on the road has receded completely. But we need to continue monitoring the channels to prevent inundation from happening again," he stated.
