Donny Andy S. Saragih is Canceled to Become PT Transjakarta Director

Donny Andy S. Saragih was canceled from his appointment as President Director of PT. Transjakarta on Monday (1/27).

He was proven to have stated things that were not true for his interests in participating in the selection process as the BUMD director

Based on the regulation 54/2017 and Gubernatorial Regulation number 5/2018 on Procedures for Appointment of Directors, every candidate must undergo competency and skill test and must be proven "Capable of Conducting Legal Actions" by making a Statement of Capable to Conduct Legal Actions.

Despite he has taken and passed the test, yet the statement signed by him that he had never been sentenced (point 2 of the Statement) was not according to the actual condition.

The cancel decision was taken through the mechanism of the decision of the shareholders outside the PT. Transjakarta shareholders meeting on January 23 referring to the Government Regulation number 54/2017 on BUMD.

It was a part of the implementation of BP BUMD tasks as regional working unit (SKPD) that has the function to hold guidance to BUMDs.

The decisions of the shareholders outside the meeting are:

- Canceling the decision of shareholders outside the meeting held on January 23

- Accepting resignation and dismissing respectfully Director of PT Transjakarta, Agung Wicaksono

- Appointed Adi Adiwinarto as Acting Director of PT Transjakarta

This press release confirms that all decisions taken in the shareholders' decision outside the meeting on January 23 canceled.
