PMPTSP Completes 6.6 Million Applications for License and Non-License in 2019

Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Department has completed 6.6 billion applications for license and non-license in 2019.

Those license and non-license were issued through PMPTSP Unit's service points in urban villages, sub-districts, municipalities, Thousand Islands Regency, and Jakarta Public Service Mall.

PMPTSP Department Head, Benni Aguscandra stated, PMPTSP's success rate in serving the community can be seen from number of services performed and people's interest in taking care license and non-license documents in Jakarta.

Two PMPTSP Units Achieved International Service Standard Certificates

"We must ensure customers who apply for license or non-license to be served well and fast. Thus they can experience for themselves how easy it is to take care of their own license and non-license documents," he conveyed, Thursday (1/30).

According to him, formerly PMPTSP Department received Indonesian World Record Museum Award (MURI) as Regional Apparatus that Issues the Most License and Non-License Documents in a Year with total 4,138,021 documents throughout 2015.

But from that amount, total license and non-license on process in 2019 is increased by 58.6 percent from amount of documents that have been listed in MURI.

"Of course we will maintain the record and improve our service, even license and non-license documents that we process is increased by 58.5 percent from total documents listed in MURI record," he said.

He explained, the most issued licenses are Administrative Service for Letter Model -1 (PM1) of Urban Village; Practice License for General Practitioners, Micro and Small Business License (IUMK), Graveyard Land Permit (New Tomb/Extension /Stacked Up); Stipulation of City Plan Land area under 1,000 square meters for all types of residential and non-residential buildings.

"In 2019, PMPTSP Department has collected regional income from levy as much as Rp 785 billion from various license and non-license levies such as Business Service levy, Certain License Levy, Levy from Billboard, Levy from Penalty, and others," he added.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Public Service Mall issued 170,086 license and non-license documents in 2019. 32 percent of it or 54,258 documents were issued by Jakarta PMPTSP.

"The highest is related to ministry services, such as Immigration General Directorate that issued 21,468 documents, then Regional Tax and Levy Agency with 18,296 documents, and Polda Metro Jaya with 13,600 documents," he closed.
