The Kota Tua (Old City) tourist area is still a magnet for local and foreign tourists. The condition was captured as a business opportunity for some people in the capital.
One of them is Siswanto (39), a face sketch painter next to the Fatahillah Museum Building. Through his skilled hands, the faces of the visitors can be painted in just over 15 minutes.

"My income here is pretty good. I peg the price of Rp 50,000 per face. In a day, I can paint five until seven faces," he expressed, Wednesday (2/5).
Most of his customers are school and college students, which will be used as a birthday present.
"Some also requested for sketches of family faces. Visitors usually bring their photo and then I paint them into sketches," he admitted.
With Rp 50 thousand, visitors can get a 30x40 cm face-size sketch paintings. Face sketch paintings made with drawing pencils and A5 and A1-size paper.
"Its price is negotiable, depending on the request of the customer," he told.
In the same place, Yusron (35), one of visitors to Kota Tua was satisfied with the family sketches made by Siswanto.
"His painting is unique and the price is also not so expensive," he admitted.
