Hundreds of People Enjoy Barongsai Attractions in Dukuh Atas

The enthusiasm of the people is extraordinary

Hundreds of people thronged the Dukuh Atas Park pedestrian, Central Jakarta to enjoy Barongsai (lion dance) and Liong attractions, on Sunday (2/9).

As experienced by Rahmat (45), a citizen of Medan, North Sumatera who came with the family admitted that he was happy, moreover the event was held during Car Free Day along Jalan Sudirman - MH Thamrin.

"We walked from the inn in Tanah Abang to get here. Then we see a very crowded crowd and it turns out there is a Barongsai attraction," he expressed, at the location.

Similar statement also came from Allin (26), a citizen of Sunter, North Jakarta. He was amazed by the attractions. There was also the diversity of cultures in the capital that must be maintained.

"We should keep our culture sustainable and don't lose it," he exclaimed.

Persaudaraan Naga Merah Putih Chairman Benky Tan expressed that this attraction started at 7 also presented Chinese Martial Arts.

"This is a series part of the Cap Go Meh held by the Jakarta Provincial Government since three weeks ago. The enthusiasm of the people is extraordinary," he stated.
