Pasar Rebo PPKPI Implements Ingub Related to Waste Reducing and Sorting

Pasar Rebo Industrial Development Work Training Center (PPKPI), East Jakarta, has implemented Jakarta Governor Instruction (Ingub) No. 107/2019 about Waste Reduction and Sorting.

Pasar Rebo PPKI Head, Budi Karlia Setiyanto stated, at first his side started to distribute 440 tumblers for the training participants as well as providing 7-category waste sorting containers which divide waste into 5 categories, such as paper, plastic, residue, hazardous and toxic materials (B3), electronic waste, metal, and organic.

"We want to implement this Ingub thus cleanliness can be maintained well," he stated, Saturday (2/15).

During the training, he informed, all participants are prohibited to bring bottled water since they have been given free tumblers.

"We also create waste bank administrators to sort the waste, then weighing it and selling it to the collectors. Its income will be used to operate the waste bank," he closed.
