Council to Soon Set Committee for Vice Governor Election

Today we're going to write to each faction to decide on the representative proposed as the vice governor

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Vice Chairman Mohamad Taufik revealed that his party will soon set an election committee (Panlih) for the vice governor.

"Today we're going to write to each faction to decide on the representative proposed as the vice governor. After that we will continue to the election of Panlih chairman and members," he expressed, at City Council Building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (2/19).

He explained Panlih would later set the timetable for the vice governor election and ensure that the implementation went smoothly.

"I think this is a hope for all of us to have vice governor again that has been empty for about one year and eight months," he stated.

As for the information, the vice governor election voting will be conducted privately.
