The Jakarta Provincial Government continues to take anticipatory steps to address the potential for flash floods, following Katulampa dam in Bogor, West Jakarta sets alert status or III status.

He explained Katulampa had touched 150 cm at 4 PM for two hours and gradually receded at 9 AM or returned to normal status or IV status.
"We have also provided information to citizens, especially those living near the river to be more vigilant," he explained.
Fortunately the seawater was not tide. Thus the process of minimizing water volume could be done quickly to minimize the potential for flooding.
"InsyaAllah we're ready to anticipate flash floods from upstream. Hopefully it can be anticipated," he hoped.
