Bulak Cabe Pump House will Be Strengthen with Automatic Garbage Filter

Bulak Cabe Pump House in Cilincing, North Jakarta has been operated since January 2020.

According to plan, 2 pumps with capacity 3,500 liters per second and 2 other pumps with capacity 500 liters per second will be strengthen with garbage filter pump for canal outlet.

North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department's Flood Control, Clean Water and Wastewater Management Facilities Section Head, Frans Agustinus Siahaan conveyed, his side plans to provide automatic garbage filter to accelerate water flow into Cakung Drain River.

"All this time we use manpower to clean the water from garbage. But next year we will propose procurement for automatic garbage filter," he mentioned, Monday (2/17).

According to him, manual garbage cleaning often triggers delays in water flow which impacts RW 04 Cilincing. As an additional effort, his side has built new sluice gate on Jalan Bakti.

"But its solution is to provide automatic garbage filter," he closed.
