Legislator Appreciates City's Fast Response in Anticipating The Spread of Corona Virus

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission C Legislator, S. Andyka conveyed his appreciation to Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan who has issued Governor Instruction (Ingub) regarding the spread of corona virus (Covid-19).

Jakarta has fully anticipated it earlier through Ingub

He assessed, issuance of Ingub No. 16/2020 is one of Jakarta Government's fast response actions in anticipating the spread of the virus.

"It is not only national's problem, but global. Jakarta has fully anticipated it earlier through Ingub," he mentioned, Monday (3/2).

City Expected to Be Optimal in Urging Developers to Submit Public Facilities

According to him, Jakarta Government could take appropriate steps in controlling the economic impacts due to the spread of corona virus by optimizing unexpected cost in the City Budget (APBD).

"We have unexpected budget allocation. It should be optimized for force majeure problems like what we face right now," he added.

By using that budget, he assessed, Jakarta Governor can have full authority of the budget without having to coordinate or obtain approval from legislators.
