Coronavirus Socialization in Thousand Islands Being Intensified

We urge resort owners to provide body temperature gauges and other sanitation equipments

In anticipating probable coronavirus or COVID-19 spread, the Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economic Sub-agency, conducted socialization on some preventive and first aid actions to tourism entrepreneurs in resort islands, Tuesday (3/3).

"We urge resort owners to provide body temperature gauges and other sanitation equipments," expressed Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economic Sub-agency Head, Puji Astuti.

Coronavirus, Don't Panic About the Stock Market

Its socialization was held on Macan Island, Sepa Island, Putri Island and Pelangi Island. Especially for residential islands, his side would visit homestay owners and tour guide.

"Hopefully the weather is good, thus we can finish it today so tomorrow we can socialize to residential islands," he told.

So, citizens were advised not to panic if guests or employees are found to be experiencing symptoms of fever, cough or runny nose.
