COVID-19 Fast Response Team Ready to Serves for 24 Hours Via Call Center

COVID-19 Fast Responsive Team provides 24-hour call center service for residents who need information regarding coronavirus. From January 27 until March 4, this team has served 2,348 residents through call center service.

There are also Indonesian citizens abroad who contact us to know the latest condition and information about COVID-19 in Jakarta

Jakarta Health Department Head, Widyastuti conveyed, there were around 20-40 people in average per day who asked about COVID-19 before central government announced about positive cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia.

"After it was announced, we served 997 people on March 2. There were  279 people who reached us via telephone and 721 people via Whatsapp. There was an increase on March 3 with total 993 people; 396 people reached us via telephone and 597 people via Whatsapp," she explained, Thursday (3/5).

According to her, more people need information related to COVID-19. Currently, as many as 70 young civil apparatuses (ASN) from various SKPDs in 2019 formation were recruited as the front liners at the call center.

"Tens ASNs who have been recruited in COVID-19 Fast Response Team are divided into 3 shifts thus able to provide 24-hour service in call center 112, 119, and 081388376955," she mentioned.

There were various sides who use this call center service such as Jakartans and non-Jakartans who asked for information of the virus;  residents and health facility who report about suspected coronavirus; companies including malls, building management, apartments, amusement park, hotels, and others; as well as hospitals management who asked about procedures (SOP) and personal protective equipment (APD).

"There are also Indonesian citizens abroad who contact us to know the latest condition and information about COVID-19 in Jakarta," she conveyed.
