We'll continue to collaborate and do hard work to minimize the COVID-19 outbreak in our city

Through Jakarta COVID-19 team, the Jakarta Provincial Government will continue to collaborate and coordinate with Health Ministry and Polda Metro Jaya in anticipating and suppressing COVID-19 in Jakarta.

"We'll continue to collaborate and do hard work to minimize the COVID-19 outbreak in our city," he expressed, quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

At the same place, Jakarta Health Agency Head Widyastuti added that her agency also had the same mission that is to cooperate with the Health Ministry in terms of epidemiological investigations.

This action was to ensure confirmed cases in monitoring and supervision. The agency also added personnel in each post as the number of cases has to be monitored.

"This is a serious case and surely we need more personnel. The team gets new team strengthening from various OPDs. In this morning, we gave them directions to respond more quickly to any movements in the community," she explained.

She also kept monitoring offices until transportation to ensure the installation of early detection devices such as thermal scans and hand sanitizers in public places for a better safety. She added, the team also recommended referral regional hospitals to the central government, such as Cengkareng and Pasar Minggu hospitals.

"Why we chose them, as we know that the first three referral hospitals are located in North, East and Central. These two others are the ones we propose in the West, namely Cengkareng and in the South which is Pasar Minggu," she explained.

In addition, the team also coordinated with Polda Metro Jaya regarding the ongoing activities and will be ongoing in the field, including monitoring mask sales.

"This is more clear about the licensing process and coordinating with the EO which organizes activities that are tourism. Likewise with mask, we know that Polda has the mask taskforce team," she continued.

Based on the report on health facilities in Jakarta as of March 4, as follows:

1. 121 people have passed the monitoring period and are declared healthy

2. 120 people are still being monitored

3. 30 patients have returned home in good health

4. 26 patients are still being treated

5. 2 people are COVID-19 positive according to data of Health Ministry
