Mud Dredged from Uangan River Inlet Channel in Pesanggrahan

South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department dredged mud from Uangan River's Inlet Channel on Jalan Sakti Kompleks Shangrila Indah 2, Petukangan Selatan, Pesanggrahan.

Until today, we have collected 2.5 tons of mud

South Jakarta SDA Sub-department's Maintenance Section Head, Junjung conveyed, his side deployed one excavator and one dump truck to dredge mud sedimentation from the channel as thick as 60 cm.

"We are focus on dredging the mud along the channel that has length of 25 meters and width of 3 meters. Until today, we have collected 2.5 tons of mud," he explained, Thursday (3/5).

Central Jakarta Intensifies Communal Work in Urban Villages

This mud dredging is targeted to finish in a week. Thus his side plans to add amphibious excavator to accelerate the work.

"We will coordinate with the locals to find an access that is enough for our heavy equipment to reach the location," he mentioned.
