The Utan Kayu Utara Urban Village Puskesmas and East Jakarta Education Sub-agency Region 1 takes steps to prevent the introduction and spread of COVID-19 into 598 students of SMKN 40.

It is filled with dialogue between students and puskesmas sides, as well as a hand washing and gymnastics movement.

SMKN 40 Principal Desly Wahyuni said it acts to support the Gubernatorial Instruction number 16/2020 on Increasing Awareness of Risk of Coronavirus Disease Transmission (COVID-19).

"Herein we also provide hand sanitizers at school," she expressed, at SMKN 40, Monday (3/9).

Additionally the school has also implemented a clean and healthy lifestyle by cleaning all corners of the classroom, including chairs, door handles, floors and other facilities.

"They are also urged to bring food and drink supplies from home to make them more hygienic," she stressed.

Utan Kayu Utara Urban Village Puskesmas Head Emma Junita added her side shares how to get used to washing hands before and after doing activities, exercising regularly and maintaining a clean and healthy lifestyle.

"We also urge the school to pay more attention to students in understanding how to wash hands," she stated.
