200 Students of SMPN 18 in Central Jakarta Receive Coronavirus Socialization

The Menteng Sub-district Puskesmas held coronavirus socialization about its prevention towards 300 students of SMPN 18, Central Jakarta, Thursday (3/5).

"We want students know the symptoms, prevention and treatment of the coronavirus," expressed Menteng Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Iga Rusmala, on the yard of SMPN 18, Central Jakarta.

Health Department Issues Circular Letter Regarding Precautions for COVID-19

After this, it was hoped that they could share this information to the family or friends.

"We don't want people to panic and be able to adopt a healthy lifestyle," she stated.

She explained that healthy life could be done by washing hands using soap and running water, adequate rest, regular exercise to consume balanced nutritious food.

"At least children do not panic about this virus. So they can do early prevention," she uttered.

Central Jakarta SMPN 18 Principal Tuju Widodo assessed it was very helpful for students and its teachers.

"We will begin to increase the awareness of students thus they can maintain their own health," he stated.
