PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) officially postponed the MRT Fest and MRT Run events in order to reduce the risk of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) transmission.

MRT Fest and MRT Run have been scheduled on March 21, 2020 and took place at Gelora Bung Karno Stadion Complex (SUGBK) to commemorate the first year of MRT train operation.

PT. MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head, Muhammad Kamaluddin stated, his side always follows up government's instruction and recommendation to prevent coronavirus transmission.

"We have provided refund option for those who have officially registered as MRT Run 2020 participants," he said, Thursday (3/12).

It takes 14 working days to process the refund after his side has received the report.

"We apologize for any inconvenience caused from this rescheduling," he added.

According to him, PT. MRT Jakarta will post the latest information on this rescheduling through MRT Jakarta's social media and website mrtfest.com.
