City - Community Elements Collaborate on Coronavirus

The Jakarta COVID-19 Response Team Chairman Catur Laswanto said that Jakarta Provincial Government made collaboration with the citizens, professional organizations to community to reduce the severity of illness of the coronavirus, including business and entrepreneurs association, on Thursday (3/12).

The meeting itself was attended by CEOs from various companies and leaders from business associations, trade to tourism. They collaborated to help the whole community truly understand together and try to carry out the task of tackling transmission from the virus.

He added that the support from the private sector was huge. That was the Telkomsel provided 10 lines for the city hotline related to handling the virus.

"We previously had a hotline at 08138837955. With these 10 lines, will make it easier for people to find information about coronavirus. We also have 112/119. By so, we can serve them optimally," he explained.

At the same place, Jakarta Investment and PTSP Agency Head also serves as Jakarta Licensing Review Team Chairman Benny Aguschandra explained that Secretary Decree number 11/2020 on Licensing Review Team for increasing awareness of the risk of COVID-19 spread had been issued. In its licensing process, he also involved the Health Agency and Polda Metro Jaya.

"That means all permit applications that have already been entered or will be implemented and whose licenses have been issued, as well as those that have just entered, will be reviewed to assess the risks. Risk assessment is primarily seen from the density ratio, what the crowd is like, the number of participants, what kind of activities, venue and event layout, event settings, the origin of the committee, performers and visitors," he explained.

Based on the review for 7 days, recommendations will be issued on whether the implementation of these activities will be postponed, continued with high risk or continued with low risk. His party would also speed up the license recommendation process, thus licensing issues can be resolved in less than 7 days.

Meanwhile, the latest developments related to the total number of people asking or seeking information about coronavirus in Jakarta reached 3,892. Meanwhile, the number who accessed through 112/119 was 312 people.
