KPKP Agency Ensures Availability of Subsidized Food for Beneficiaries

The Jakarta's Agency of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) ensures the availability of subsidized food for beneficiaries.

This is about the food needs of citizens, so this is very urgent in the current situation and conditions

According to Darjamuni, Head of Jakarta KPKP Agency, every beneficiary may conduct transactions in several places such as, outlets in urban villages and sub-districts, JakGrosir, JakMart, Mini DC and other market outlets under Perumda Pasar Jaya.

"Yet they can't do transaction at RPTRAs, as had to be stopped for two weeks ahead," he expressed, Monday (3/16).

Aside that, the agency has coordinated with Perumda Pasar Jaya, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya and PD Dharma Jaya, to continuously hold service and drop subsidized food stocks according to the citizens' demands.

"This is about the food needs of citizens, so this is very urgent in the current situation and conditions," he explained.

Even, distribution or service of subsidized food is carried out by the mechanism of even numbered card holders being served on the even date and vice versa.

"It is to anticipate the stacking of queues in large numbers," he stated.
