East Jakarta COVID-19 Team Holds Socialization at Traditional Market and Mall

COVID-19 Response Team from East Jakarta Health Department held consultation, socialization, and education at Bali Mester Traditional Market and Basura Market, Jatinegara.

Everything was under control. Visitors' temperature was normal, no hoarding groceries, and others

East Jakarta Health Sub-department Promotion Manager, Dadan Suhermawan conveyed, his side opens post for consultation and counseling. While for socialization, his side installed COVID-19 banners and provided body temperature checking.

During body temperature checking on Friday (3/6), his side didn't find visitors whose temperature over 38 Celsius degree.

"Everything was under control. Visitors' temperature was normal, no hoarding groceries, and others," he conveyed, Saturday (3/7).

According to him, COVID-19 socialization and consultation are important thus people don't panic and overdo things.

"Importantly, as a prevention, they should maintain cleanliness by washing their hands often, maintain healthy diet and lifestyle, and exercising to boost their immune system to fight off sicknesses and viruses," he explained.

Meanwhile, Basura City Apartment, Cipinang Jatinegara, has also requested COVID-19 Response Team to hold similar event.  

"We are waiting for a response from Jatinegara Puskesmas regarding East Jakarta Promkes socialization plan at Basura City Apartment on March 20," he closed.
