Number of personnel from North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Office's Sector 8 cooperated with health center (Puskesmas)'s health personnel to disinfect public facilities in Tidung Island.

South Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Office's South Thousand Islands Sector 8 Leader, Eko Mahendro stated, disinfectant spraying was done in SMP 241 school, Transportation Office (Dishub)'s port, ferry boat and traditional boats alongside the jetty, urban village and sub-district offices in South Thousand Islands.

"We spray it using disinfectant to prevent coronavirus transmission," he explained, Monday (3/16).

Because of limited tools, he continued, spraying was carried out alternately.

Tidung Islands Urban Village Head, Hafsah mentioned, his side planned to disinfect all public spaces gradually. Formerly, his side had sprayed mosque, mushala (prayer room), and RPTRA with disinfectant liquid.

"After this, we will disinfect elementary schools, madrasah school, and SMKN 61 Jakarta," he closed.
