Ancol Extends Closing Period of Tourism Areas

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol has extended the closing period of all recreation units, resorts and restaurants to an undetermined deadline in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Previously we announced to close all recreation units from March 14 to 27 but now it has been extended

"Previously we announced to close all recreation units from March 14 to 27 but now it has been extended," expressed PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol President Director, Teuku Sahir Syahali, Thursday (3/26).

He also asserted that it also affected on the tourist destinations and entertainment places owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government in Jakarta.

COVID-19 Affects MRT Phase 2 Construction Process

"Hopefully the coronavirus spread may soon be eased and all activities can recover and be as conducive as before," he stated.

As for the information, the policy is in accordance with Gubernatorial Instruction number 16/2020 on Increased Awareness of the Risk of COVID-19 Transmission, as well as COVID-19 Emergency Response Status and Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Head's Circular letter number 160/SE/2020.
