The South Jakarta Administration has extended to close 60 Child-Friendly Playgrounds (RPTRA) in its area up to April 5 in an effort to protect visitors from the COVID-19 coronavirus, which continues to spread globally.

"Previously we imposed closing from March 16-28, but now it has been extended to a week," South Jakarta Empowerment of Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-agency Head, Fathur Rohim, Monday (3/30).

All this time, he explained, his party routinely instructs the park caretakers to spray disinfection and conduct monitoring through Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras or patrols.
