Kaliadem Port Tightens Entry Access to Thousand Islands

Kaliadem Port in Penjaringan, North Jakarta tightened entry access for passengers who want to enter Thousand Islands.

After arriving at destination port, we will spray the passenger boat using disinfectant

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s Regional Port Operator Unit (UPPD) Muara Angke and Kaliadem Port Head, Yose Rizal stated, entry access to Thousand Islands is tightened because social distancing period is extended until April 19.

"We need to check passengers' ID cards (KTP) first because only Thousand Islands residents can enter," he said, Thursday (4/2).

Access to Enter Kelapa Island Tightened

Besides, his side also limited number of boats that can enter Thousand Islands. For a day, only one Dishub's boat and one traditional boat that can sail alternately to Pramuka Island or Harapan Island.

"Every passengers are required to wash their hands with soap in the nearest sink from counter, use hand sanitizer, and pass body temperature check," he explained.

His side also applies one-seat distance between passengers on the boat.

"After arriving at destination port, we will spray the passenger boat using disinfectant," he closed.
