We want to make sure we have sufficient amount of food commodities for our residents during coronavirus outbreak
It was done to ensure availability of food supplies, especially staple foods in JakGrosir thus Thousand Islands residents needs could be fulfilled, including for KJP cardholders, elderly, and PJLP.
"We want to make sure we have sufficient amount of food commodities for our residents during coronavirus outbreak," he asserted.
Each RW on Panggang Island Has COVID-19 PostsFrom this inspection result, his side estimated that existing staple food supplies in JakGrosir couldn't meet the needs of the residents until next week. Thus he needs PD. Pasar Jaya to restock the supplies.
His side has coordinated with PD. Pasar Jaya to send the supplies immediately thus residents and merchants don't have to buy it from Jakarta or Tangerang in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission in Thousand Islands.
"Because people are prohibited to leave house and the island, demand is increased. It makes the supplies that was just sent last week is running low," he explained.
