Jakarta Provincial Government through Regional Employment Agency (BKD) held blood donation activity at City Hall on Wednesday (4/8).
From this activity, our target is to collect at least 300 blood bags until this afternoon
Jakarta BKD Head, Chaidir stated, blood donation was held to help Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) to meet the needs of blood stock which began to run low since March.
"It was initiated by BKD under Community Welfare based on a sense of humanity. After knowing from Jakarta PMI that blood stock has running low, we coordinate with Regional Secretary to hold blood donation through a safety protocols," he explained.
150 Civil Servants in North Jakarta Donate BloodAccording to him, Jakarta Provincial Government's civil apparatuses always hold routine blood donation through collaboration with Jakarta PMI.
"From this activity, our target is to collect at least 300 blood bags until this afternoon," he stated.
