Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission  C Legislators distribute 150 personal protective equipment (PPE), 4,000 cloth face masks, 100 bottles of hand sanitizer, 2 units of sprayer, and 100 staple food packages to the North Jakarta Resort Police Station.

North Jakarta Resort Police Station Chief, Police Commissioner Budhi Herdi Susanto mentioned, during the COVID-19 outbreak, his side really needs hand sanitizer, face mask, and PPE.

"It is not only for our personnel, but also for residents who need it," he stated, Thursday (4/9).

Commission C Legislator, Jupiter conveyed, police and health workers are the frontline of public service in the midst of COVID-19 outbreak.

He expected this assistance can be useful to prevent the police officers from COVID-19.

"They work night and day on the field and have a contact with residents. f they don't have a proper PPE, they become vulnerable to the virus," he said.

Another legislator from Commission C, Dimas Raditya Soesatyo hopes, the assistance can facilitate officers in serving people.

"We hope all legislators, businessmen, and wealthy people can participate to help them. We must unite to overcome this epidemic," he asserted.
